GUESS WHAT…IT’S PRIDE MONTH and we’re celebrating 2 years of marriage equality!! But if you follow along with me on my Instagram you’ll see all of the love and pride every single day. We have come a long way and that’s worth celebrating on the regular. I have spent the last several years traveling around the world photographing and collecting love stories for the LGBTQ+ community. Dreamy…I know right?! I knew it was time to do something bigger. Something that would hopefully leave a lasting impact when I’m gone. I started a nonprofit called the Promote Love Movement.
We relaunched June 1 with the new vision just in time for pride month. Promote Love is a collective of LGBTQ+ & allied individuals united for the purpose of promoting love. We are a space for members of the LGBTQ+ community who were raised in religious families to share their experiences in a safe and judgment-free environment. We believe storytelling can soften hearts and bring people together — sometimes we are all we have. We encourage people to live true to themselves, find their happiness, connect with strangers and share their stories. We’d love for you to hang out with us here: @promotelovemovement.
